The Steelers will make their first picks on Day Two and it should be exciting as there is plenty of talent to be had.

The Steelers didn’t have a first-round pick on Day One but that’s okay because their first-round pick was used to acquire Minkah Fitzpatrick. I think Fitzpatrick has changed that defense in a positive way. I think he is the domino that made this a defensive team again.

The Black & Gold have a couple picks on Day Two. They have the 49th pick in the second round and the 102nd pick in the third round. This gives them two picks that could really improve their team.

There was plenty of talent that went on Day One. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of talent on day two. Plenty of talent could fall to the Steelers at 49.

One nice thing about the change in draft philosophy of running backs is that there is still plenty of talent at running back available. The only running back that has been taken already is Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

The Steelers have a need at wide receiver and there is still plenty of talent available on the board. Someone like Michael Pittman or Tee Higgins could fall to them at 49.

There’s even some defensive talent available. There is still Grant Delpit available and Trevon Diggs. Both are first-round worthy candidates in my opinion.

I would look for if there is a run on running backs early in the second round. Jonathan Taylor, JK Dobbins, and D’Andre Swift are all capable of being feature backs in the NFL. If James Conner is still beat up, these picks may be very valuable.
