Defensive line: 6

Cameron Heyward

Stephon Tuitt

Tyson Alualu

Chris Wormley

Isaiah Buggs

Cavon Walker

This is where things start to get a little dicey. They guys at the top are no-brainers. Cameron Heyward, Stephon Tuitt, and Tyson Alualu are all solid veterans and locks to make the team in 2020. In addition, Pittsburgh traded for Chris Wormley this offseason, and he should be a virtual lock as well.

After their top four, Isaiah Buggs has a good chance to stick around and maybe earn some snaps that used to be Javon Hargrave’s. Dan McCullers has lasted longer than anyone thought he would, but I don’t think he will make it to September this year.  The addition of Wormley provides another big, run-stopping body with more mobility, and I think McCullers’ six-year run in Pittsburgh finally comes to an end.

For the final defensive line spot, I have XFL sack leader, Cavon Walker making the team. He’s smaller than they traditionally like, but he’s an explosive player who can provide penetration on third downs. It’s still really early, but he’s got an outside shot to stick around.
