Best Case Scenario:

19-0 Super Bowl champions! Overly optimistic, I know.

Let’s get to reality. If the Steelers defense plays at the same level it did last year–producing turnovers, limiting opponents offenses, and even creating their own scores–along with a more effective offense… we could be in for a fun year.

If the Steelers can turn around their ground game, health, and red zone offense around, that would solve a majority of the offense’s 2019 woes (barring being struck by inept play calling and game planning by Fichtner.)

The Steelers face some good defensive personnel throughout the season. If Ben’s experience and Matt Canada’s input on the offensive game planning can uplift this offense, these could all be winnable games.

There are some givens. The Black & Gold will more than likely not sweep the Ravens. They might struggle on the road in Dallas, Buffalo, and Tennessee.

All of these teams have good defenses and offenses that can grind a game away with a strong running game.

I could see the Steelers going 13-3 in a best-case scenario if the offense can bounce back and the defense maintains an elite level of play.
