The Pittsburgh Steelers schedule has been released for the 2020 NFL season. Here are their five most difficult games they will play this year.

The Steelers schedule was unveiled on Thursday night, and there are a lot of things we need to talk about. I recently wrote an article about what we need to know about the schedule heading into the 2020 NFL season.

Pittsburgh kicks off the year with what could prove to be a daunting task with five straight games against uncommon opponents. They don’t play their first divisional game until Week 6, and the Steelers get a difficult task after the bye week as they travel to Dallas to face the Cowboys.

The back half of Pittsburgh’s schedule eases up a bit, but there are no doubt a few games towards the end that will really be crucial to whether or not the Steelers find themselves with a playoff spot at the end of the season.

Returning from injuries are Ben Roethlisberger and Stephon Tuitt. Pittsburgh also has new faces like Eric Ebron, Chase Claypool, Stefen Wisniewski, Chris Wormley, and Alex Highsmith who could all prove to be of assistance to the team in 2020.

The Steelers only had one major loss in Javon Hargrave, but losing two offensive linemen in Ramon Foster and B.J. Finney may not come without its ups and downs.

Still, Pittsburgh should prove to be a competitive team this year, and their additions outweigh their losses. There’s no reason to believe they can’t be a playoff team in 2020, but the road will be difficult.

Here are their five most challenging matchups the Steelers will face this year:
