Trap Game #2: Week 12 at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars were the basement of the AFC South in 2019 but that does not mean they should be overlooked in 2020. This will be Gardner Minshew’s second year and he will have an improved defense in 2020.

This is a trap game because the following Thursday, the Steelers will host the Ravens on Thursday Night Football. It will be hard not to look ahead to this game.

On the other hand, the Steelers will have to travel to Jacksonville to play the Jaguars and they will have to face an upgraded defense. They added K’Lavon Chasson as an edge rusher on one side and will have Josh Allen in his second-year on another. This defense should be better in 2020.

The Jaguars also added Laviska Shenault who should be healthy for this game. He is a real dynamic playmaker whose injuries kept him from being a first-round pick even in a really good wide receiver class. He was probably also the best receiver in Colorado football history.
