Trap Game #3: Week 15 at Cincinnati Bengals

I don’t think Joe Burrow is going to turn the Bengals around in year one, but I do see this as a franchise on the rise. Adding a franchise QB will make this a better franchise in the long-term.

The issue that I see here is that the Bengals will be in the process of rebuilding and the Steelers will have to play the Colts the next week who I think is going to be a good team after adding Phillip Rivers.

The Steelers can’t take division games lightly and although the Bengals may not be at their best, they are still division rivals. The Bengals already know a lot about the Steelers playing them twice a year and will be planning to improve.

The Bengals also look like a worse team because in 2019 they were riddled with injuries. The Steelers will need to take this team seriously in 2020. They will have a new QB, Tee Higgins, and Jonah Williams will be healthy.

Conclusion

These three trap game will be important for many reasons. One of them is that two of these games are division games and the third one is an AFC game. It’s also important because wins by easier teams are easier to come by and are needed to make the playoffs.

The elephant in the room for the Steelers schedule is having to play the Ravens twice. Not only were they one of the best teams in the AFC in 2019, but they also had a really good draft. Lamar Jackson will now be entering his third year in the NFL.

Next. Steelers must rethink RB position in order to compete. dark

With the Corona Virus, it’s important for teams to win the games when they have them because you never know when the season or games will be canceled. Winning every game is going to be especially important.
