The Steelers have completed the draft and now we have an idea of who will go to camp with the Steelers. Here is a way-to-early 53 man roster prediction.

The Steelers have added some pieces through the 2020 draft and now we can start to think about the Steelers preseason. They may miss some key events like mini-camp and OTAs. On the other hand, this will build up the importance of training camp.

There is some concern about when or if the Steelers season will start. There is a chance that the Steelers season will start on time. A lot can happen and that includes changes to the roster.

This prediction should tell us how the roster looks in May. There are still plenty of changes that will be made based on who gets hurt and who emerges in camp.

Let’s take a look at who is on the inside and who is on track to make the roster:

Quarterbacks (3)

  1. Ben Roethlisberger
  2. Mason Rudolph
  3. Devlin Hodges

You could debate whether the Steelers will keep two quarterbacks or whether they will keep three. Mike Tomlin has already said that Mason Rudolph will be the backup next year.

I still think the Steelers want to keep Devlin Hodges because he was able to win games with a good defense. Hodges was also just a rookie in 2019.

The best news coming out of this position is the recovery of Ben Roethlisberger. As soon as Roethlisberger is healthy, he will start for this team. He is the guy until he decides to retire or he flames out.
