GLENDALE, ARIZONA – DECEMBER 08: Cornerback Joe Haden #23 of the Pittsburgh Steelers celebrates with cornerback Steven Nelson #22 after an interception against the Arizona Cardinals during the second half of the NFL game at State Farm Stadium on December 08, 2019 in Glendale, Arizona. Cornerback (6)

  1. Steven Nelson
  2. Joe Haden
  3. Mike Hilton
  4. Cameron Sutton
  5. Justin Layne
  6. Alexander Myres

The Steelers should have a similar group at cornerback next year. Steven Nelson will be the starting outside corner on one side and Joe Haden will be the starter on the other. Mike Hilton will be their Nickelback as well.

Cameron Sutton will be a top backup and could be brought in, in the dime. He had a very good 2019 and could be a good player to have in 2020. Justin Layne will move up to Artie Burn’s role in year two.

The name that might surprise you that could very well make the roster is Alexander Myres. He has the pro day numbers to suggest he could be a good gunner in the NFL. He might just be a special teams player though.
