RB (4)

James Conner, Benny Snell, Anthony McFarland, Derek Watt

The top four are set here (Derek Watt is a FB, but he is included here), meaning the only question is if the Steelers will carry five at the positions. James Conner and Benny Snell are both power back options who could supplement each other as starters. Anthony McFarland is a fast change of pace option that the team invested in during the draft.

The biggest name not on this list is Jaylen Samuels. Considering his lack of playmaking ability though, his absence isn’t a major loss. While Samuels can catch the ball, he does little with it. As well, he struggles as a runner and his path to the roster is murky at best. The team should be comfortable carrying these four runners only.
