The return of Ben Roethlisberger

We all know that no position in the NFL is more important than the quarterback, and Pittsburgh had some of the worst quarterback play in the league in 2019. But Ben’s return does more than just help an ailing offense.

With Ben under center, the Steelers will have many more sustained drives that result in points this year. This means that opposing offenses will be forced to put up more points by moving the ball through the air – allowing a talented Pittsburgh defensive front to tee off on the quarterback.

Ben Roethlisberger is a player that should make everyone better around him, and the sheer fact that he will be putting a helmet on in 2020 should give Pittsburgh defensive players enough incentive to get out there and do the job right.
