OLB Jason Worilds

Remember Jason Worilds? He was the outside linebacker who got the transition tag for the Steelers and then decided to retire.

Worilds could have been a very good outside linebacker for the Steelers. In his last two seasons with Pittsburgh, he had 15.5 total sacks. He had 8.0 in 2013 and 7.5 sacks in 2014.

Worilds is only 32 years old and with the athleticism that he had, I’m sure he could still play in today’s NFL.

There are players who could come out of retirement and play for the Steelers, but I don’t think any of them will. For now, Pittsburgh needs to focus on their current roster and hope to make a legitimate run at a Super Bowl in 2020.
