2. The Steelers trade a 2021 6th round pick to the Dallas Cowboys for Antwaun Woods.

Antwaun Woods has made a name for himself in Dallas since making the team in 2018. Woods is not a flashy name but he would be a solid depth player for the Steelers’ defensive line. Woods saw a limited role in 2019 due to injury as well as a few behavioral problems but when he was on the field, there was an impact being made.

The Cowboys this offseason went out and acquired Gerald McCoy, Dontrai Poe, and Neville Gallimore leaving Woods on the chopping block for playing time. The Steelers should seize this opportunity and acquire a player like Woods. I believe Woods could learn from Mike Tomlin and the tough culture of Pittsburgh and become a beast. Woods is only 27 years old and is on a one year contract with the Cowboys.

Dallas has already expressed interest in moving on from Antwaun this offseason and a 6th round pick can get the job done. Woods will probably not be a starter as he was in Dallas but he would be a great player to rotate with Dan McCullers. Woods would also be an RFA after the 2020 season so if he goes out and performs at a high level, the Steelers are getting a bargain. Woods is a high-risk high reward player and if he pans out, the Steelers get a huge bolster to their already stacked defensive line.
