S Minkah Fitzpatrick

Minkah Fitzpatrick is still very early into his NFL career, and it’s harder to get a good feel for the player he will ultimately become in the NFL. However, if that player is anywhere near as good as the one we saw in 2019, it won’t be hard to hear his name called in Canton someday.

As a player who turned just 23 years old last season, Fitzpatrick was able to take the ball away 8 times in 2019 in addition to surrendering just a 46.3 passer rating in 14 games with the Steelers last year. Nobody was surprised when he earned first-team All-Pro honors in just his second NFL season.

Now, the true test begins for Minkah. After an incredible second season in the NFL, he needs to show that he’s not just a one-year wonder. With the instincts and elite playmaking ability we saw from him in 2019, something tells me he won’t be. If he can maintain his reputation as one of the league’s best safeties, he could hear his name called to the Hall of Fame one day.
