The Steelers will get a huge boost in 2020 with the return of our ‘Field General’

As I have stated several times in several different articles, the 2020 season for the Steelers hinges on the ability of Ben Roethlisberger, our franchise and future Hall of Fame QB, to return to form after sitting out all but two games of the 2019 season with an injury.

As ‘Big Ben goes, the Steelers 2020 will follow.  I can not emphasize how important it is for our ‘field general’ to be able to lead not only the offense but the team as well. In order for him to accomplish that goal, ‘Big Ben’ must remain healthy.

We all witnessed what transpired ion 2019 sans ‘Big Ben’.  The Steelers offense was anemic, to put it mildly.  I know that ‘Big Ben’  can not single-handedly win games for us. In other words, he can not take the snap and either had it off to or catch the ball himself.  His return, however, will not only boost his confidence but will boost the confidence of every other player on the team.

The return of ‘Big Ben’ will also boost the confidence of the coaching staff.  I don’t know about you, but I would sure like to be the offensive coordinator as all I would have to do to prepare for a game is to watch film with ‘Big Ben’, ask him what he wants to call in certain situations, respond with, ‘Hey, that sounds good to me’ and call it a day.

I realize it’s more involved than what I stated above, but the essence of formulating a game plan when your franchise QB is available to you can not be understated.  What also can not be understated is the importance of ‘Big Ben’ to the success of the Steelers in 2020.

Let’s wrap up this particular discussion.
