The Steelers must believe that the 2020 season will be a successful one

Like all seasons, the Steelers enter the 2020 season with the hope that it will culminate in another Super Bowl victory, thus raising our total to 7 Lombardi trophies.  Another term for hope is optimism.

We explored three reasons the Steeler have to be optimistic that the 2020 season will, in fact, yield the result we fans desire and the Steelers organization desires.  It’s one thing to be optimistic; it’s another thing to believe in something so strongly that optimism becomes reality.

I think that is exactly what the Steelers need to do this season. What I mean is this:  We have to will into existence a season in which we make the playoffs and make a run at another Super Bowl title.  For the reasons we outlined in our discussion, we have enough speed on offense to be competitive, we have a top 5 defense returning essentially intact and we have our franchise and future Hall of Fame QB returning from injury.

If the Steelers can congeal early on, I do not see any reason why we would not be in the discussion as the team to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.  Maybe that is too optimistic, but I strongly believe it.  Do you believe it?
