1. Cleveland Browns
In the last few years, this honor clearly would have gone to the Baltimore Ravens, but it’s hard to make a legitimate case against the Browns not having the best tight ends in the division right now.
David Njoku flashes a lot of promise as a former first-round pick back in 2017. As a 22-year old in his second season in the league, he earned 56 catches for 639 yards and 4 touchdowns. Unfortunately, injuries have hampered him early in his NFL career and he played just 4 games last season.
Because of his struggled to stay on the field, Cleveland went out and signed Pro Bowl tight end Austin Hooper this offseason. Hooper is coming off a fantastic year with the Falcons where he earned 75 catches for 787 yards and 6 touchdowns. Hooper has now seen back to back Pro Bowl appearances in 2018 and 2019. With Njoku and rookie Harrison Bryant behind him, Cleveland has the most well-rounded tight end group in the division.
