4. Cincinnati Bengals

Perhaps there was a brief period of time where you could have made the case for the Bengals having the best tight end group in their division, but that has long since passed. Tyler Eifert is no longer with the team, and he could never stay on the field for a full season.

Because of this, C.J. Uzomah is forced to bump up into their number one tight end spot. Behind him, former second-round draft choice, Drew Sample, will assume duties as the number two tight end this year. Most believed that Sample was drastically over-drafted when Cincinnati took him in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Bengals tight ends, like most positions on their roster, are underwhelming on paper. Perhaps they could prove to be better than what they appear this year.

Overall, the Steelers sit at third in their division when it comes to the tight end position, but it’s not by a lot. The acquisition of Eric Ebron and the return of Ben Roethlisberger should prove to be huge for Pittsburgh’s tight ends this year. With a very good season from Ebron and McDonald, they could be in discussion with the Browns and Ravens at tight end.
