Week 5, the Steelers play the Eagles at Heinz Field. The Steelers open up this game as 1.5 favorites, per BetOnline.ag.

The Steelers have typically not played well against the Eagles over the years. Mike Tomlin’s worst career loss came at the hands of the Eagles. He is 1-2 vs the Eagles in his career as the Steelers head coach, according to The Football Database. The Steelers also have a losing record against the Eagles all-time, per The Football Database.

Beyond the record history between these two teams, there are tough matchups all over the field. Former Steeler defensive tackle Javon Hargrave just signed a 3- year deal with the Eagles this offseason. He will be suiting up in Heinz on the away side for the first time in his career. Expect a good game from him playing against an offense he has practiced against so much.

The Eagles added plenty of speed this offseason in the draft with Jalen Reagor, John Hightower, and Quez Watkins. Making it very clear they want to play at a different pace this year. The emergence of Miles Sanders is going to be tough on the Steelers defense. In the past, we have seen pass-catching backs wear out the front seven with deadly screens. Sanders fits that mold perfectly.

The Eagles could be one of the better teams in the NFL with a returning head coach an experienced quarterback Carson Wentz under center.
