Maurkice Pouncey: 40% chance

While I don’t believe that Maurkice Pouncey was deserving of all of the Pro Bowls he has been awarded, it’s hard to argue against his personal accomplishments when predicting the Hall of Fame.

Though his first 9 seasons in the NFL, Pouncey has made the Pro Bowl 8 times and has added 2 fist-team All-Pro honors to his name. However, in order to be in legitimate consideration for the Hall of Fame when he retires, his work is far from done.

Despite his impressive resume, Pouncey likely needs to make at least two more first-team All-Pros to be voted in – something he isn’t likely to do after coming off his worst season in 2019. Alan Faneca was arguably the Steelers best interior offensive lineman of all time. But despite his 6 first-team All-Pros, he is still on the outside looking in.

Pouncey has had an impressive career, but he’s not the same player Faneca was. There’s less than a 50/50 chance he gets in unless he really steps up his game in the final years of his career.
