3. TE Eric Ebron

I can see why there is so much talk surrounding Eric Ebron and the potential difference he could make to the Steelers offense in 2020. For the price Pittsburgh signed him for, I think it was an excellent deal for the team. However, there are reasons why Ebron is receiving too much hype.

For starters, Ebron was the former 10th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and tested as a solid athlete at the NFL Combine. But despite such high expectations entering the league, Ebron has averaged just over 500 receiving yards per season.

He did, however, have a phenomenal season with Andrew Luck in 2018 in which he earned Pro Bowl honors in a 13-touchdown campaign. But the athletic tight end has still never eclipsed 750 receiving yards in a season and is coming off just 375 yards in 11 games last year. Let’s hope he can live up to the hype in Pittsburgh.
