There may be some dispute on this, but I didn’t feel comfortable enough to make any other offensive lineman a lock to make the roster quite yet. Players like David DeCastro, Maurkice Pouncey, Alejandro Villanueva, and Matt Feiler are at zero risk of losing their jobs this year.

I would also add Stefen Wisniewski, Chukwuma Okorafor, and Zach Banner to that list as well. Though two of these three players will be backups in 2020, they each have traits that will lock them to the team this year. Wisniewski is a versatile veteran with tons of starting experience, while Banner and Okorafor are young, big offensive tackles who Pittsburgh has been grooming.

Kevin Dotson is a player who could make the 53-man roster this year as one of Pittsburgh’s fourth-round picks in 2020, but he could possibly be a practice squad stash. Derwin Gray is another player who could fall short of the roster this year.
