The Steelers have begun training camp. Here is a look at their offensive line. The Pittsburgh Steelers have begun training camp and although it’s sad it won’t be in Latrobe, the Steelers need to make the switch to protect the players from a coronavirus outbreak.

The offensive line is a key component of an offense as it opens up the running lanes and gives the quarterback time to throw. The Steelers have enjoyed plenty of good offensive lines in recent history. The Black & Gold had the benefit a couple of years ago of having Mike Munchak as their offensive line coach. He was probably the best in the business and could turn seventh rounders into starters.

They have a solid eight guys who should help them in many ways. There is a chance a ninth makes the team, but for right now I only see them keeping eight. They lost Ramon Foster and BJ Finney which are will hurt them for sure. The benefit is that this team is constantly developing offensive linemen and could add play some linemen who they have been developing.

Ramon Foster has retired we all knew this was bound to happen at some point. He had a great career and although he won’t be in the Hall of Fame, he will be remembered as a consistent presence on their offensive line for many years.

I thought that when Ramon Foster retired that BJ Finney would be the one to step in at left guard. He left for the Seattle Seahawks which surprised me because he was so emotional about living out his dream of playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

I’m going to breakdown the linemen who I think will make the team for the Black & Gold.
