Chase Claypool

Chase Claypool is generating a lot of hype and that is for good reason. He is an athletic freak. However, he has three wide receivers ahead of him on the depth chart. If the first three guys on this list stay healthy I don’t see him being relevant in fantasy this year. However, he is a guy that someone would definitely wanna draft and stash in deep leagues and dynasty leagues this season. If the Steelers catch the injury bug, he is worth consideration as a touchdown-dependent WR3 or flex.

You more than likely won’t see him on the field very often as much more than a deep threat in 3 or 4 wide receiver sets and as a red-zone target this season. With the addition of Eric Ebron, he may garner a lower-end target share in the red zone which is where most of his value would be this year.

With Ju Ju being in the final year of his contract and James Washington entering his third or fourth year, by drafting Claypool so high the Steelers indicated they are planning on moving from one of those two guys sooner rather than later. Overall his fantasy outlook for 2020 is pretty dim, but he is a Dynasty draft must.
