LB (9):

T.J. Watt

Devin Bush

Vince Williams

Bud Dupree

Olasunkanmi Adeniyi

Alex Highsmith

Tuzar Skipper

Ulysees Gilbert

Robert Spillane

This group as a lot more intriguing than most, although only at the OLB position. Bush and Williams will be the primary starters on the inside while Gilbert will serve as the backup. Spillane is primed to take over like a lead special teamer for the Steelers, as he was almost unstoppable on that unit last year.

On the outside, Highsmith and Adeniyi are fighting to be the third rusher off the bench. While they will both see some snaps as reserves, whoever is deemed the top backup could take on a substantial role if one of the starters were to get injured. At the bottom of the roster, Skipper is the favorite to make the roster, although the recently signed Jayrone Elliot could fight him for that spot. Skipper has more upside as a pass rusher, but Elliot is an established special teamer. Ultimately, I think Skipper comes out on top, but don’t be surprised to see Elliot’s name come up instead.
