Week Five versus Eagles

The Black & Gold have historically had trouble with the Philadelphia Eagles. I can’t really explain why, but for some reason, the Steelers always have trouble with the Eagles.

I don’t think Carson Wentz will be a huge problem for the Steelers but there he will have a good offensive line protecting him. The challenge with the Eagles will be facing them in the trenches.

The Eagles are good upfront with the right side of their offensive being Jason Kelce, Jason Peters (who is moving to guard), and Lane Johnson. They are going to be stout on the right side.

The Eagles are also good at defensive tackle. The interior of the Steelers line will be challenged by Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham.

One player that really emerged in his rookie year was TJ Edwards from the Wisconsin Badgers. He is a weakside linebacker. He was a part-time player who helped in run defense. He should help the Eagles a lot in 2020 with his ability to stop runners.
