Devin Bush

118 tackles, 8 TFL, 2 INT, 3 FF, 2 FR, 6 pass defenses, 2.5 sacks

Devin Bush was a productive player as a rookie – earning 109 tackles, 9 tackles for a loss, 2 interceptions and, 4 fumble recoveries in 15 starts, according to Pro Football Reference. While he may not top those numbers by much in 2020, he could prove to be a better football player than he was in 2019.

Bush’s biggest issue last year was locking down his assignment in zone coverage, as he would often be late to react. According to Pro Football Reference, Bush surrendered a 97.4 passer rating and allowed 5 touchdowns last year. That should change in year two.

With a season of starting experience under his belt, Bush will look to take a second-year leap and become a more well-rounded football player. He already knows how to run, pursue, and tackle at a high level. If he can lock his other assignments down, he could become one of the better linebackers in the league as early as this year.
