4 best moments from the Pittsburgh Steelers week 1 win vs the Giants
3 of 4
With Pittsburgh being down 10-3, something needed to happen for this offense.
Ben would slowly improve drive by drive. After the 28 yard pass to Claypool, Big Ben started throwing down the field more and more. On their second to last drive in the first half, Roethlisberger threw his first touchdown pass since 2018, this beautiful lob off the back foot straight into JuJu Smith-Schuster’s chest.
After this play, Ben showed even more confidence. This was shown when they drove down the field with 2 minutes left in the first half. Ben would break off an 11 yard run into the red zone, and then take the lead with a touchdown pass to James Washington to close out the half. The passing game slowly but surely started to look better and better as the game wore on.
