Ben Roethlisberger was commanding the offense

Ben Roethlisberger was running the offense and delivering the ball well as the game went on. He was able to fit some passes into some very tight windows.

Ben is back and that is a great sign for the Black & Gold. This team is infinitely better when Ben is running the show. The offense struggled at times in the first half, but Ben was able to keep the team composed enough to win the game.

One thing that was really good to see was Ben Roethlisberger throwing the ball accurately. He fit some passes into tight windows and made his offense move the ball.

This team is able to win in the underneath with fast receivers like JuJu Smith-Schuster and Diontae Johnson. When those guys were getting separation, the ball was moving.

Ben also completed passes to Eric Ebron. I think he is going to be a nice addition to an offense that wants to move the ball.

James Washington had a nice run after the catch into the end zone where his muscling the ball into the end zone created a key score in the game. I think Roethlisberger will be able to use him better than Mason Rudolph did.
