5 things that went right in Steelers Monday Night win over Giants

Joe Haden had a key pass breakup
Joe Haden quietly had a nice night and made a key play by breaking up a pass on the Giant’s two-point conversion. This play put the game out of reach.
Joe Haden was not loud tonight, but he quietly had a good game. His key pass breakup was one of the best plays of the night. I think that play sealed the game for the Steelers.
Haden has had a great career, but will probably be asked to play a more secondary role on the 2020 squad. Steven Nelson has stepped up as the Steelers top corner and that gives Haden a more manageable role.
There was a play where Haden looked bad tonight and that was when Saquon Barkley hurdled over him. It wasn’t his best moment, but corners are mostly asked to play pass defense. I think anything Haden can add in the run game is a bonus.
The pass breakup was key because the Giants were down by 10 points. Had they converted that pass, they would have been eight points away from tying the game. That two-point conversion was the play that sealed the game in my opinion.
