KJ Hamler (Hamstring) Probable

Hamler was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice and that is a good sign for him to play. I think the reason he didn’t dress last Monday was out of an abundance of caution.

Albert Okwuegbunam (Ankle) Probable

Okwuegbunam has been dealing with an ankle injury in the preseason but I think he will be good to go against Mike Tomlin’s team. He might also be held out as a healthy scratch. Okwuegbunam is a project with a lot of potential because of his height and speed.

Conclusion

The Black & Gold have a lot of players out for practice, but I think the list will shrink as the week goes on. This team is banged up on the offensive line, but it would be nice if some of those players could get healthier as the week goes on.

There are some players on that list that I am fairly certain will play on Sunday and just were given the day off because it was the first day of practice.

The Broncos have a lot of names on their injury report as well. Losing Phillip Lindsay will hurt them as he is a quick back who is hard to catch. AJ Bouye is a starting corner and losing him for the game will hurt the Broncos pass defense.

Next. 5 winners and 2 losers from Steelers 26-16 win vs. Giants. dark

Let’s hope the Steelers get some better news on Thursday and it progresses throughout the week. I would hate to have injuries cost them an AFC game.
