Courtland Sutton

Verdict: Start ’em

Courtland Sutton failed to suit up in week one, meaning he should see his first game reps against the Steelers this week. While the Steelers defense did a good job for the most part at shutting down the Giants receiving game, they did give up a big game to Darius Slayton. Sutton is a bit more physical and a little less speedy, but he could be in for a similar performance.

The Broncos passing game was hit and miss in week one but would surely be superior with their best WR returning to action this week. Sutton will commend a lot of attention, but the Giants showed you can still expose the Steelers secondary if given the right time. Expect the Broncos to try and do this against Sutton.

Sutton should be a favorite to score against the Steelers as well as putting up respectable receiving numbers. While the Broncos offense should struggle against one of the best defenses in the NFL, it shouldn’t stop Sutton from having a good game. He is a start in all formats heading into week two.
