Steelers right-side offensive line vs Denver defensive line

To add insult to the Banner injury, Pittsburgh will again be without All-Pro guard David DeCastro for the game. DeCastro was hurt in a preseason scrimmage at practice and has yet to practice or play since.

These injuries will result in the team starting rookie Kevin Dotson next to Chukwuma Okorafor on the right side. This is not the ideal situation for the Steelers with Big Ben just coming back from a season-ending injury in 2019.

The Broncos front seven held the Titans to 3.8 yards per carry in week one and sacked Ryan Tannehill once. Their line features Jurrell Casey who is one of the better interior defenders in the league.

With Dotson being a rookie and Okorafor having limited experience, the Denver front has the potential to take advantage. The Steelers can’t afford the young pair to miss a beat in this game, thus limiting the Steelers’ offensive output.
