After a mostly quiet 2nd quarter from both teams, Ben takes a shot immediately after an 80+ yard punt return for a touchdown was called back due to an illegal block.

Ben Roethlisberger throws his 367th touchdown pass, breaking a tie with draft classmate Eli Manning, to reach 8th all time. He does this in the second quarter to rookie WR Chase Claypool. Claypool received glowing reviews from everybody in the preseason.

84 yards, for his first of hopefully many, touchdowns in the NFL. It was a nice go route. He just outmuscled and outran fellow rookie Micael Ojemudia. Once he caught the ball and established himself in bounds, there was no chance for anyone on the Broncos to catch up to him and everyone knew it. That 4.42 40 yard dash time was displayed perfectly on this play.

After a good catch in week 1, Chase Claypool made a much bigger splash in week 2. He did do this to another rookie in Michael Ojemudia, however, Ojemudia played very well in week 1 against both AJ Brown and Corey Davis. It wasn’t completely due to the injuries in the secondary and that’s comforting knowing that he may be able to replicate that success against other defenses across the league.
