Ben became the seventh all-time leading passer

Ben Roethlisberger became the seventh-leading passer all-time. That is a great accomplishment for the Steelers’ franchise QB.

This accomplishment had little to do with the outcome of the game but is another thing that went right for the Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger passed Eli Manning on the all-time passing yards list and is now seventh all-time.

Ben Roethlisberger has been a staple for the later part of the Bill Cowher era and the entirety of the Mike Tomlin era. He has broken most of the Steelers’ passing records. Now he is going for all-time records.

I respect the longevity of Ben Roethlisberger. I remember at the beginning of Ben’s career people questioned how long his career would be with all the hits he was taking. The Steelers remedied that situation by focusing on drafting offensive linemen. That gave them great careers from guys like Ramon Foster, Maurkice Pouncey, David Castro, and Marcus Gilbert.

Ben has empowered his fair share of receivers too. Let’s not forget the accomplishments of Antonio Brown, Plaxico Burress, and Santonio Holmes despite their off-the-field problems. He also had a great relationship with Heath Miller.
