Conclusion

The Black & Gold got their first home win of the season and now are 2-0 to start the season. It should not be taken for granted the importance of early games even with the problems of the coronavirus. I commend Mike Tomlin on the job he is doing with this adversity.

The other good news is this team does not appear to have a lot of injuries from this game. They have had a lot of injuries on the offensive line and so it’s good this team was able to keep things together.

We saw against the Broncos how injuries can derail their team. Losing from a quarterback, go-to receiver and best corner can be a recipe for disaster.

Mike Tomlin’s team now gets to the hard part of their schedule and we will see what this team is made of. I like where the Black & Gold are so far.
