The heavily favored Steelers are primed for a great game against the Broncos on Sunday and these are the biggest storylines heading into the matchup

While the Steelers won in convincing fashion on Monday, all eyes are now on how the Steelers do in week two. Plenty of questions were answered in the win, and the team looked better than most people expected. The offense had to shake some rust off, but they found their stride and picked the Giants apart. The Broncos are in the crosshairs now as the Steelers hope to improve to 2-0 on the season.

The week one storyline did end up dominating the game. Ben Roethlisberger looked like he was going to be the downfall of this squad early on, missing open receivers and only focusing on short routes. He eventually loosened up though and had one of his the best week one games of his career. Diontae Johnson also proved to be a critical factor, as his muffed punt and early drops made him look like a disaster. However, he calmed downed and found his grove, eventually catching six passes and getting back to his rookie form.

This biggest concern didn’t prove to be a factor in the game, but it is still a cause for concern. David DeCastro and the offensive line are already extremely banged up and depth is already wearing thin. Again, none of these storylines proved fatal, but they were still critical for the final results.

Will week two be any different? There are plenty of storylines that are dominating the front pages for the Steelers. More than likely, these storylines will dominate the final result of the Steelers game. All of that said, here are the four biggest pregame storylines.
