Lockdown Noah Fant

Noah Fant was one of two prolific Iowa University tight ends to come to the NFL in the 2019 draft. He is an uber-athletic tight end that possesses great speed and size, a must for today’s tight ends.

His rookie year saw him nab 40 receptions for 562 yards and three touchdowns. He is the definition of a chain mover as he had 23 receiving first downs in 2019 so the Steelers should key in on him on third downs especially.

Fant racked up five catches for 81 yards and a touchdown last week against Tennesee. This makes him a key player to focus on for the Steelers defense.

As with Evan Engram last week, Fant is the type of tight end that has given the Steelers fits in the past. His big game last week could lead to more targets against Pittsburgh and they have to make sure they don’t let his week one success repeat.
