Benny Snell: stock – down, Diontae Johnson: stock – up

Benny Snell played extremely well in week 1 against the Giants running for over 100 yards with James Conner down for much of the game. He seemed to be in line for more carries but he only got two against Denver.

He did the exact opposite of what he did in New York with those opportunities. He finished the game with 2 carries for 5 yards and the crucial fumble that brought Denver to within five.

Snell had a big opportunity to build on week one and earn a bigger role in the offense. However, after fumbling twice in two games he may be in the Steelers doghouse.

Diontae Johnson had himself a day that could have been even better if not for a penalty on his punt return touchdown that was called back. Johnson hauled in eight of his 13 targets for 92 yards and a big touchdown.

Johnson had a solid bounceback game after his struggles in week 1. He led the team in targets, catches, and yards on the day.
