Chase Claypool: stock – up, Devin Bush: stock – down

The Steelers have been searching for a big-bodied, deep threat receiver since they moved on from Martavis Bryant. They may have found that in rookie Chase Claypool.

He came up with a beautiful tight-rope catch along the sideline and took it to the house. He showcased what made the Steelers take him and that is his field-stretching ability.

He also showed out well on special teams making two tackles as a gunner. He finished the game catching all 3 of his targets for 88 yards and the touchdown.

Devin Bush had a rough game this week in coverage. He drew a tough assignment but one the Steelers drafted him to take in covering tight ends.

Noah Fant beat him for a touchdown and the ensuing 2-point conversion on back to back plays. He and Vince Williams were asked to cover more than they probably should be but Bush was drafted to help bolster the coverage in the middle of the field and on tight ends and he struggled today.
