Mike Hilton: stock – up

Mike Hilton has had his ups and downs throughout his career but is trending up at the start of the 2020 campaign. He has become one of the best blitzing nickel corners in the entire league.

That skill set was on display when he flew off the edge for a sack early in the second quarter. He finished with 8 tackles and 2 tackles for a loss.

Hilton did have a costly mistake on a roughing the passer penalty in which he launched himself into Jeff Driskel when he had time to let up after the pass was thrown. Overall he had a great game but that play could have cost the team the win.

Chukwuma Okorafor and Kevin Dotson get an honorable mention for their stock going up. The pair held their own in the game and you didn’t hear about them much which, for an offensive lineman, is great news.

The Steelers got the ugly win and moved to 2-0 on the year but the schedule gets a little tougher in the next two weeks. They will face the Texans at home next week and Tennesee in week 4 on the road.
