The Steelers have a long list of injuries, but still, I think this team is very healthy at this point at least in terms of the active roster.

The Steelers have a lot of players that will probably be given the day off but will be back for the rest of the week. I think this team should be ready to go on Sunday from an injury perspective.

There were also a lot of players who are being given a Veteran’s Day off. Those are mostly older veterans who are prepared on Sunday’s but just need some rest in the war of attrition that comes with playing in the NFL.

Diontae Johnson (Toe) Probable

Diontae Johnson sat out of Wednesday’s practice and I think that is really just a precaution. Everybody in the NFL needs some time to heal and I think they are just giving him a day off.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he is ready for the Steelers game versus Texans.

JuJu Smith-Schuster (Knee) Probable

JuJu was also held out of Wednesday’s practice, but I’m not worried about him on Sunday. I expect him to be their #1 receiver and put up big numbers against Bradley Roby and the Texan’s secondary.

David DeCastro (Knee) Questionable

David DeCastro practiced fully on Wednesday and that is a great sign for this team. He is their best option at right guard and will give Kevin Dotson a break.

I thought Kevin Dotson held up well in his first start in the NFL, but it is always better to have DeCastro back. I put DeCastro as questionable but if he practices Thursday then I expect him to start versus the Texans.
