The 2020 Pittsburgh Steelers are two weeks into their young season but that doesn’t mean fans forget those lost last offseason. Many Steelers come and go but the majority have their best playing days while wearing the black and yellow.

There was a list of notable losses to the Steelers while the offseason commenced. Many of the players left for bigger contracts. Now that the season has begun and those former players have joined other teams, it is time to check in on how those said players are doing.

The list will be comprised of the top three players that left and are still on their respective teams that they signed with during free agency. The Steelers were not able to keep these players due to a variety of reasons.

Cornerback, Artie Burns was a player that always seemed to struggle to find any traction for Pittsburgh as other players became the starters. Burns would sign a one-year prove-it contract with the Chicago Bears in hopes of reigniting his potential as an NFL corner. Burns would be injured during the preseason process and lose his season because of it.

Safety, Sean Davis would be cut from the Washington Football Team and re-sign with the Steelers right after final cuts were announced across the league. Nick Vennett would scurry to the Broncos after claiming he hated his time in Pittsburgh, looks like you did as much for this team as you are now for the Broncos, nothing.
