Javon Hargrave

This was far and away from the Steelers biggest loss this past offseason as Hargrave proved how dominant he was in a great breakout season. He was a very well-liked guy in the locker room and was amazing depth on an already stacked defensive line. Money was the main thing here as Hargrave cashed in big time as the Philadelphia Eagles gave him a three-year deal that can be worth up to 39 million and has 26 of that guaranteed.

Now he plays next to one of the top defensive players in the game, Fletcher Cox. Those two can make a very formidable force as long as both can stay healthy. Health is a concern right now for Hargrave as he has been struggling with a pec issue in the early portions of this season.

He did finally wear the Eagles colors for the first time on Sunday against the Rams. His Eagle career has not started off on the right foot but with him potentially healed now, the middle of that defense will be dominant for years to come. The Eagles defense has become one of the leagues best and with the pass rushers that they have on their team, Hargrave should have a great post-Steeler career as long as he can stay on the field.
