The Steelers get pass happy

While the Steelers offense has been consistent, they have failed to be completely dynamic. The team has missed a few opportunities to score and put up a big play, and while it hasn’t resulted in a loss yet, it could bite the Steelers in week three. While some more big plays and fast-paced offenses would be ideal, it shouldn’t be surprising the offense has struggled to by dynamic.

While Ben Roethlisberger is back, he is still playing football for the first time in a year. It is natural to expect him to ease himself back in. During regular seasons he takes a few games before really hitting his stride, so it makes it even less surprising that he hasn’t had that big game yet. Against a good offense though, I think Roethlisberger has his first dominant outing of 2020.

I think the team as a whole goes over 40 points and are led by a 4 TD, 400-yard outing by Roethlisberger. I think he makes a couple of deep connections to both Chase Claypool and James Washington, as well as finding JuJu Smith-Schuster in the end zone twice. It’s not like Roethlisberger has been bad in his return, but week three appears prime time to for Roethlisberger to take off.
