Okorafor is settling into the right tackle job

At the start of the season, the right tackle position might have been a fear for fans of the Black & Gold. Now it is a position of stability. Okorafor was going to be a swing tackle in 2020 when Zack Banner tore his ACL.

Okorafor has settled into the right tackle position in his third-year. It is also good to know that he is only 23 years old and that means the Black & Gold can have him for a while. I think he will eventually be the replacement for Ali Villaneuva.

What is nice about Okorafor’s game is the way he run blocks on the right side. The Steelers can run an end-around to the right and gain yards with Conner. It worked for a touchdown against the Texans.

I think the good news for the 2020 Steelers is that they have a right tackle and the hope is that this can be a position of stability the rest of the way. The Black & Gold will need to get younger on the offensive line in the future.
