Chukwuma Okorafor: stock – up

The Steelers camp-long right tackle battle was barely lost by Okorafor. He saw himself thrust into the starting spot when Banner went down and played very well against the Broncos.

He did not have to face Von Miller last week, so, the big test had yet to come. J.J. Watt came to town and looked to provide that test.

Okorafor must have studied all night because he passed the test with flying colors. J.J. Watt was a non-factor all day against the Steelers offense and credit goes to Chuks.

Holding a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year winner down all game long and not allowing him to make an impact was huge for Chuks and the team as a whole. Watt is a game-wrecker and for him to not have a big impact today speaks volumes to the ability Okorafor has at right tackle.

Pittsburgh lost a big pass protector in Ramon Foster forcing them to slide Matt Feiler inside. Banner was going to plug in at right tackle but, with his unfortunate injury, Okorafor looks to be the man to step in and produce.
