The Pittsburgh Steelers are 3-0 for the first time since they made Super Bowl 45.

While starting 3-0 for the first time in years is a good thing, the Pittsburgh Steelers are not a team that should rest on their laurels with the current roster. It may be hard to find holes on one of the few undefeated teams left in the NFL through 3 weeks but there are a few forgotten about free agents that could make a difference for a few teams.

Earl Thomas is probably the most talented player still available. He is a 3 time all pro and is one of the most decorated safeties in the entire NFL. Any player who eclipses 25 interceptions on their career is a talent, he has 30. But he has quite a few off the field issues that are going to probably keep him off of NFL rosters until roughly midway through the season.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is another high profile safety still available. He had a good run with Green Bay and the fact he got dropped by the Cowboys suggests that he was not ready to perform coming into the 2020 season. The former pro-bowler has yet to find a home, but with such a deep talent pool at safety, it is understandable that with him being less talented than some of the other options, he has yet to find a new home.

On the offensive side of the ball, there are a few options the Steelers could possibly pursue. With less quality depth behind Chuks, and Feiler seemingly under-performing there are a plethora of offensive linemen the black and gold could consider. It is worth noting there are a few talented veterans in a lot of positions that have performed well but were unable to get that elusive Lombardi trophy into their hands.
