The Pittsburgh Steelers have a chance to keep their win streak alive as they host the Eagles this week. Here are four areas they must improve in following the bye.

It’s hard to wish for a much better start to the season than the one Pittsburgh is experiencing. As they exit their bye week and prepare to host the Philadelphia Eagles this week, the Steelers sit on a 3-0 record for the first time since 2010 and have a chance to go 4-0 for the first time since 1979.

This start is much different from the one they experienced last year. The Steelers began the 2019 season 0-3 and were just 1-4 after the first five weeks. Even with Ben Roethlisberger for the first game, Pittsburgh was pummeled in a 30-point loss to the New England Patriots.

Though things are going much better just a year later, Mike Tomlin’s team is far from perfect. They have looked very sloppy at times, and there are some areas they must work on moving forward. Some of the mistakes they made early in the season would have cost them the game against better opponents. However, the three teams they have beaten so far have a dismal combined record of 1-11.

After knowing this, their modest margin of victory in each contest looks much less impressive. The Steelers have got a lot of work to do as they prepare for a much tougher stretch of the schedule coming on. After the Eagles, they will play the Browns, Titans, and Ravens – three teams with a combined record of 9-2.
