Eagles Injury Report (cont.)
Alshon Jeffrey (foot) Doubtful
Alshon Jeffrey came back with a foot injury and was able to be limited in practice on Wednesday. He was out on Thursday; so, that tells me he reinjured himself or came back too early. I would be surprised if he suits up against the Steelers.
Jason Kelce (hip) Questionable
Jason Kelce was limited for Wednesday’s practice. He was a full go for practice on Thursday. He is a veteran; so, the Eagles wanted to ease him early in the week. I fully expect him to play center for the Eagles against the Steelers.
JJ Arcega-Whiteside (calf) Questionable
I have no doubt that Arcega-Whiteside will dress and get some action on Sunday. The Eagles have some injuries at the receiver position. He has practiced the last two days fully; so, I would be surprised if he doesn’t dress on Sunday.
Conclusion
The Steelers have a few injuries but the big question that hangs in the balance in T.J. Watt. He might be the second most valuable player on the team and is definitely their best defender. My best guess is that Watt is okay otherwise there would be a lot of panic over this injury.
The Eagles have a bunch of injuries. Some of them are coming back from injuries and some do not look like they are going to go on Sunday. I think the Eagles are underdogs at the point in their matchup against the Steelers, even if Watt does not dress.
