The Pittsburgh Steelers are entering Week 5, fresh off a bye, against the Philadelphia Eagles and it should be an easy win.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are undefeated. The Eagles are sitting at 1-2-1 on the season. It is important to realize that the Eagles only win was an ugly win against the team that has experienced more key injuries than any other team in the NFL. The Eagles took advantage against a squad that wasn’t fielding their franchise quarterback, their #1 running back, their two best pass rushers, and also a former 3rd overall pick on the defensive line as well. That isn’t including the random injuries to their secondary and depth.

Even with all of the key injuries that the 49ers were dealing with, the Eagles are also dealing with their own injuries and the result was a clumsy and ugly win in Week 4. The Pittsburgh Steelers are much healthier than either of those teams and as a result, look poised to run away with this game.

If both squads were completely healthy, the Pittsburgh Steelers would still be favorites. They have more talent at each level of offense and aside from Philly’s elite defensive line, the same can be said about their talent on defense. It would take a lot of wacky stuff to happen if the Eagles were to actually walk out with the win on Sunday.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming into this week as whopping touchdown favorites. The injuries are to positions that really makes the bad matchup for the Eagles even worse. I do think that Carson Wentz will put up a great effort. Yet, he just simply doesn’t have the talent to make this as competitive as one would expect of a normal NFL game.
